I am currently working with an impressive company based in the Workington area to recruit a Finance Assistant on a temporary basis for 4-8 weeks.
Due to recent changes within the team the business needs additional support with the purchase ledger and general accounting duties. They have recently gone through a transformation, so this is an opportunity to be part of a growing & dynamic team.

Duties include:
Accurate processing of supplier invoices
Reconciliation of supplier statements and maintaining correct supplier balances
Supplier payments and correct reconciliation of same
Weekly reviews of ledger for review by the management team
Dealing with all supplier queries
Cash & bank reconciliations
Stock managementSkills required for success:
Experience within Accounts Payable/Purchase ledger/Accounts role
AAT qualification is preferred, but experience in a similar role will also be considered
Great communication skills
Strong analytical & Excel skillsWhat's on offer
Hourly rate £17.10
