Job Description:
We're looking for a confident and ambitious Customer Service Advisor to join our growing business. The role is in our fast-paced customer service team, responsible for managing daily inbound customer and supplier enquiries. You'll work to maintain our reputation for great customer service for our existing customers of 16,000 + and more.
You'll need a good eye for detail, a methodical approach, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Working Monday to Friday (with no weekends) the role is based in our York office, close to the city centre. Ideal candidates will have at least two years' experience in a similar role.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
* Answer customer service enquiries from our existing customer base and our suppliers
* Provide accurate and timely information to customers about our waste products and pricing
* Develop relationships with customers by following up on enquiries; contacting customers via phone and email and developing relationships that last beyond the initial contact.
* Work with customers to determine their needs and help them find the right solution for them
* Build long-term relationships with customers by taking the necessary steps to ensure positive customer service experiences.
* Work with internal departments to ensure that our customer needs are being met.
Qualifications:
* Previous experience in a customer service role or related field is required.
* Ability to build rapport with clients
* Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to communicate both verbally and in writing. Must be able to use Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
* Clear and professional phone manner.
