Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management, with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead culinary operations, supervise staff, and ensure the highest standards of food safety and quality are maintained across all service areas. Responsibilities

* Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth and efficient food production.
* Lead and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and motivated team environment.
* Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to established recipes and standards.
* Manage food safety protocols, ensuring compliance with health regulations at all times.
* Develop menus in collaboration with management, incorporating innovative ideas while maintaining consistency.
* Monitor inventory levels, place orders for supplies, and manage stock control to minimise waste.
* Train new staff members on food preparation techniques, safety procedures, and service standards.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in accordance with hygiene standards.
* Collaborate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Experience

* Proven supervisory experience within a professional kitchen environment.
* Extensive background in food production, culinary arts, and restaurant operations.
* Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hospitality settings.
* Experience in managing teams effectively, demonstrating leadership qualities and excellent communication skills.
* Hands-on experience with food preparation, cooking techniques, and menu development.
* Previous roles involving hospitality service or serving customers are highly desirable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to £36,000.00 per year
