Due to expanding long-term contracts, ACES Ltd are looking to recruit a Service Trainee Engineer to join our team to carry out repairs on domestic & commercial appliances, installations and deliveries, assisting electricians with day to day tasks including electrical works, moving materials and equipment and other general labour tasks.
A Service Trainee Engineer (Appliances) assists in installing, maintaining and repairing household or commercial appliances while learning technical skills under supervision. This role is designed to build hand-on experience in appliance servicing and customer support.
* Assist in installation of appliances.
* Ensure proper setup according to company safety standards.
* Diagnose basic faults in appliances.
* Support senior engineers in repairing electrical/mechanicial issues.
* Perform routine servicing and preventative mantenance.
* Learn trouble shooting techniques.
* Use tools and diagnostic equipment.
* Maintain service records and reports.
* Communicate with customers during service vists and via telephone.
* Maintain professional behaviour at customer locations.
* Effective time management to handle multiple service requests efficiently and meet customer expectations.
