Transport Administrator
📍 Location: Sittingbourne 🕒 Full-Time | 📅 Start: 11th September
We are seeking a proactive and organised Transport Administrator to join our clients busy logistics team initially on a temporary basis. You'll play a key role in supporting transport operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and maintaining accurate documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Communicate with drivers and customers via phone and email
Manage defect sheets, vehicle compliance, and driver infringements
Upload and manage transport data using Safety Cloud and FTA Vision
Coordinate inbound/outbound schedules and maintain driver manifests
Ensure availability of consumables, PPE, and general supplies
Support the Transport Manager with audits and compliance tasksWhat We're Looking For:
Strong communication and organisational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and ideally Opera or similar systems
A problem solver who thrives under pressure and can multitask
Knowledge of transport procedures and safety regulationsDesirable: Previous experience in a transport or logistics admin role, however is you have excellent Administrative skills and experience you will be considered for this role.
The hours of work are 7.00am - 4.00pm Monday to Friday
