Job Summary

Managing the purchase and supply of goods within specific allocated categories.

The Purchasing Specialist manages all the purchasing process from price and terms negotiation to order placing and delivery of goods into NDC.

Duties and Responsibilities

* Maintain and improve relationships with our preferred suppliers.
* Review and manage your allocated suppliers' performance.
* Manage inventory.
* Price and Contract Negotiation with suppliers
* Placing Orders for Direct Shipments and Provisional Orders for Stock
* Supplier Price File Update & Management
* New Product Code Creation
* Communicate clearly and concisely with colleagues throughout United

Skills & Qualifications

* Strong emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail
* Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously to meet goals and deadlines
* Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, primarily Excel
* Good time management and organisational skills
* Basic mathematical knowledge
* Fluent in English, verbal & written
* Knowledge of the Hospitality sector (but not essential)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £25,000.00 per year
