What you will do:
An opportunity has arisen to join the Adult Acute Admissions inpatient team in NHS Ayrshire and Arran, specifically working within ward 9 as a Band 3 Nursing Assistant at Woodland View Hospital within Ayrshire Central Hospital. You will support the delivery of high-quality nursing care, providing person-centred, recovery-focused interventions as part of a multidisciplinary team. A genuine interest in working with persons experiencing mental health problems is essential, and experience in a care setting or similar role is highly desirable. You will work as a key part of a multidisciplinary team and should have excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills, along with a positive attitude and proven ability to work collaboratively.

Knowledge, training, and/or experience required:
- SVQ3 in a healthcare-related subject and/or equivalent knowledge gained through experience, on-the-job training, or short courses.
- Demonstrable core skills to undertake patient care and related activities competently.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Training provided to ensure compliance with the Mandatory Induction Standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland 2009 and the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers.

Hours:
37 hours per week, with a flexible approach to shift patterns across a 24/7 period.
