About NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde

Position Details

The shift pattern for this position is Monday - Friday. Please note the salary is Pro Rata for part-time hours.


About the Anticoagulation Service

The Glasgow & Clyde Anticoagulation Service offers comprehensive assessment and treatment for approximately 5,000 patients on Warfarin therapy. Services are provided in hospital and community settings throughout Greater Glasgow and Clyde, including domiciliary visits for housebound patients.


Role Responsibilities

* Provide high-quality clerical support to ensure the efficiency of the anticoagulation service.
* Handle a high volume of telephone calls politely and efficiently.
* Print reports from the DAWN AC system as required.
* Relate information to internal and external referrers.
* Manage stationery and computer supplies in the work area.
* Support and train new staff while maintaining own duties.
* Assist in developing working procedures.
* Access CHI/TrakCare, SCI Gateway, and clinical portals to facilitate internal referrals and ensure patient details are accurate.
* Provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support for the service.
* Manage filing and scanning in a timely and efficient manner.
