Contract Aerospace Mechanical Design Engineer

Our client (a growing, well-respected, and market-leading aerospace manufacturing organisation) is looking to recruit several mechanical design engineers on a contract basis to support with a large package of work.
* Inside IR35 Contract
* 6-month Contract Duration
* Bristol - 4 days on site (1 WFH)
* Multiple Positions Available
Job Description
* Design and develop a range of mechanical high precision components
* Prepare scheme drawings, and detail manufacturing drawings for production
* Perform mechanical component development and integration
* Solve a variety of mechanical engineering issues and improve existing designs
* Utilise CATIA V5
Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications
* Extensive experience designing mechanical components/systems within the aerospace industry
* Ability to read complex engineering drawings and specifications
* Accomplished using CAD/design software
* In‑depth knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and geometric tolerances
* Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to identify, analyse, and resolve complex design challenges
Additional Information
Initial 6-month contract, with a strong likelihood of extension due to programme demand. Multiple hires required to support a large-scale engineering workload.
