The Administration Manager will line manage a small team of administrators and be responsible for the management of the facilities and ancillary services across the two Eastern Regional Offices.
We are looking for a customer focused individual who can with the regional management team to ensure the delivery of a comprehensive secretarial and administrative service. The postholder will lead a team that provides committee and administrative support for a number of meetings, booking venues, preparation of agendas and minute taking. The postholder will also be the regional IT contact and provide support to the staff in the region using appropriate software.
The successful candidate will need to effectively manage the Team Administration team. Be responsible for staff training and development. Ensure office processes and protocols are adhered to. Maintain a Caseweb database. Willingness to travel regularly between our regional offices. Be responsible for the facilities over the regional offices
In order to complete this role effectively you will need to be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and oral, have great interpersonal skills, have experience in motivating a team, able to prioritise yours and team’s workload to meet deadlines which will include decision making within guidelines and following UNISON policies and procedures, to be a key player of the management team and report to the Regional Management Team.
