Job Role
6. Running the kitchen when the head chef is away.
7. Ensuring the kitchen brigade has high culinary standards.
8. Managing food purchasing and storage.
9. Maintaining a safe and hygienic kitchen environment.
10. Helping create new recipes and writing menus.
11. Working in a fast-paced environment for A la carte restaurant, functions and weddings
Your Skills and Experience
12. Kitchen management experience
13. Knowledge of food preparation methods and presentation
14. Full understanding and proven experience of H+S and EHO requirements
15. Standards driven, with a focus on quality and attention to detail.
16. Strong leadership skills
17. Experience of liaising with suppliers and ordering
18. Strong organisational and administrative kitchen management skills
19. Ability to work well under pressure and to specific time frames.
