SEND Improvement Project Officer
We are seeking a highly organised and motivated SEND Improvement Project Officer on a full time permanent basis to support the delivery of Bracknell Forest's SEND Improvement Programme. This role coordinates improvement activity, governance arrangements, partnership engagement and programme delivery across the local area.
Description
As a SEND Improvement Project Officer, you will be an organised, proactive, and detail‑focused professional with excellent communication, coordination and analytical skills. You will build positive working relationships with stakeholders, manage competing priorities and support delivery within a fast‑paced environment. You will work across organisational boundaries, present information clearly, monitor progress and contribute to continuous improvement activity that supports better outcomes for children and young people with SEND and their families.
Key responsibilities
* Support the delivery of SEND improvement initiatives across Bracknell Forest, ensuring alignment with national reform, statutory requirements, regulatory expectations and local priorities.
* Coordinate governance arrangements, including programme boards, partnership groups and meetings, ensuring effective administration, documentation and follow‑up actions.
* Monitor and track programme actions, risks and dependencies to support effective delivery, oversight and assurance of SEND improvement activity.
* Develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with partners across education, health, social care and parent carer forums to support integrated working.
* Prepare high‑quality briefings, reports, presentations and communications, ensuring accurate and timely information sharing across the SEND partnership.

Job Details
Salary: £37,092 - £41,506 per year, inclusive of £729 London Weighting.
Location: Time Square, Bracknell (Hybrid working).
Contract: Permanent.
Hours: 37 hours per week, flexible/full time.
