Overview
A leading law firm is seeking a proactive and organised Marketing Assistant to support the delivery of marketing and business development activity. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with early marketing exposure, ideally within professional services, who is looking to develop their skills in a collaborative, high‑performing team.
Key Responsibilities
* Campaign support— Assist with planning and delivering marketing campaigns, including email marketing, social media activity, and event promotion.
* Content coordination— Draft and update website content, lawyer bios, news items, and marketing collateral.
* Social media management— Schedule posts, monitor engagement, and help develop ideas for LinkedIn and other platforms.
* Event support— Coordinate seminars, webinars, client events, and sponsorship activities, including logistics, invitations, and follow‑up.
* CRM administration— Maintain accurate client and contact data, support mailing lists, and assist with reporting.
* Pitch and credentials support— Help prepare pitch materials, capability statements, and team profiles.
* Market research— Gather competitor insights, track sector news, and support fee‑earners with research requests.
* Brand consistency— Ensure all materials follow brand guidelines and quality standards.
Skills & Experience
* Marketing exposure gained through a previous role, internship, placement year, or relevant degree.
* Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences.
* Confident using digital tools such as email marketing platforms, social media schedulers, or CMS systems.
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
* A proactive, positive approach with strong attention to detail.
* Comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels and building strong internal relationships.
* Experience in a professional services environment (legal, accountancy, consultancy) is desirable but not essential.
