As an Oncology Staff Nurse in our hospital, you’ll be attentive, focused, detail-oriented, and empathetic. You’re registered with the appropriate governing body, such as the NMC, and you bring relevant qualifications and experience. Post-registration experience is essential. You are a team player with a passion for exceptional patient care.
As an Oncology Staff Nurse, you will:
1. Have chemotherapy experience; SACT course is essential.
2. Be a valued addition to the team in our consultant and nurse-led service.
3. Work with patients receiving chemotherapy or new treatments, such as immunotherapy.
4. Fully assess each patient’s needs, providing tailored treatment plans and care.
5. Assess and monitor patient conditions.
6. Work effectively as a team member and promote interdisciplinary relationships.
