This newly created role is ideal for someone eager to make a tangible impact by driving change, implementing new processes, and improving existing policies within an international finance team. You’ll also take on responsibility for managing a qualified accountant, offering the opportunity to develop and sharpen leadership skills.
Key Duties Include:
* Training and development of a Financial Accountant
* Oversight of monthly financial close, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
* Prepare monthly management accounts and statutory year-end reporting
* Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across key business units
* Partner with non-finance stakeholders, providing insight and challenge
* Drive process improvements and strengthen reporting controls
* Contribute to ad-hoc projects including systems upgrades, M&A, and integration work
* Present financial information in a clear, concise way to senior leadership
Experience & Qualifications:
* Qualified accountant (preferably ACA/CA)
* A minimum of 2 years post-qualified experience, within a financial reporting or controls-focused role
* Solid understanding of IFRS reporting standards
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate finance for non-finance stakeholders
* Advanced Excel and modelling skills
* Commercially astute, with proven business awareness
Compensation & Benefits:
* Base salary: £70–80,000
* London subsidy of £5,000
