Deputy Manager (Clinical) – Fixed term, 12 months
Location: Bupa, Great Malvern, England, United Kingdom. The Springs Care Home – Spring Lane, Malvern, WR14 1AL.
Salary up to £52,873 – depending on experience.
Work hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Occasional night visits or weekend work may be required.
Responsibilities
* You’ll oversee and assist all aspects of nursing care and activities within the home.
* With your team, you’ll create and update individual care plans for residents, maintaining clear, accurate, and up‑to‑date medication records.
* Ensure adequate staffing levels through efficient rota management.
* Provide day‑to‑day support and guidance to the team, promoting residents’ independence, choice and dignity.
* Build lasting relationships with residents and their families, fostering a sense of community.
* Develop strong relationships with local partners and liaise with them, raising the care home’s profile locally and beyond.
Key Skills / Qualifications
* Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin and a genuine commitment to the NMC Codes of Conduct and professional development.
* A commitment to champion independence, choice and dignity by delivering high‑quality care.
* Up‑to‑date knowledge of tissue viability, infection control and care planning.
* Excellent communication skills, able to build honest relationships with residents and families.
* Leadership skills – ready to share clinical experience, lead and mentor a team, delegate effectively and promote excellent customer service.
* Strong time‑management and prioritisation skills.
* Respectful and compassionate team player, committed to giving your personal best.
