Business Development Representative Cambridge / WFH to £50k + uncapped commission
Are you a tech-savvy Sales Executive looking to progress your career at a successful scale-up software company?
As a Business Development Representative, you will focus on selling software SDKs (Software Development Kits) via licensing for cutting-edge in-car technology products serving the automotive sector, emergency services, and breakdown/rescue services.
You will cover various vertical markets including mobile operators, handset vendors, Automotive OEMs, and equipment suppliers. You will collaborate with the management team to shape business strategy, establish strong relationships with key partners, prepare compelling value propositions and customer proposals, develop business models, negotiate terms, and close deals. There is significant scope for innovation and new product ideas.
Location / WFH:
This role offers a hybrid work model with two days per week in the Cambridge office. Opportunities for worldwide travel to trade shows and exhibitions are available to engage customers; occasional visits to client sites in the UK may also be required.
About you:
* Experience selling technology products to global clients
* Tech-savvy, with the ability to understand the product and client needs
* Skilled in building consultative business relationships
* Good understanding of software licensing agreements (SLA)
* Degree educated in a STEM discipline
* Second language skills are preferred for selling to international clients
