Salary: £59,397.00 - £60,879.00 per annum, depending on experience Hours: 37.5 hours per week. As our Social Care Deputy Manager, you'll be at the heart of delivering exceptional care, leading a dedicated team whilst ensuring every resident feels valued, respected and truly cared for. What You'll Be Doing Leading the management and delivery of outstanding social care that meets CQC regulations whilst putting residents' wellbeing at the center of everything Championing holistic, person-centred approaches to care, acting as a trusted advisor to residents and their families during important conversations Overseeing comprehensive assessments, care planning and safeguarding processes that protect and empower the people in our care Managing admissions, audits and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance our residents' quality of life Developing and inspiring your team through effective people management, creating an environment where everyone can contribute and grow What You'll Get In Return Joining St Monica Trust means becoming part of a values-led organisation where people are at the heart of everything we do. Other Skills and Qualifications Essential Level 4 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) Working knowledge and understanding of the CQC Regulations and the Essential Standards of Quality and Safety, Infection Control, Medication, GDPR, NMCs standards and guidance and the Mental Capacity Act. Experience of working with older people, those with a disability, and/or dementia Experience of working in a nursing home/hospital/sheltered housing/social care setting in a supervisory/management capacity Confident with using IT and an advanced understanding of Word/Email Knowledge and use of customer service principles Knowledge of manual handling and food and hygiene practices Desirable Qualified and NMC Registered Nurse (adult level 1) Level 5 in Management and Leadership (or equivalent) or working towards Level 3 qualification in Dementia Care (or equivalent) Educated to degree level or equivalent Specialist skills and experience in dementia Additional Information Duties must be carried out in compliance with St Monica Trust’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Policy.
