Post Title: Insurance and Risk Manager
Location: Can be based at any of our office locations, across the Highlands
Hours: 35 hours per week
Duration: Permanent
Salary: £47, - £52, p.a.Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job Purpose: To ensure the provision of a high quality and customer focussed insurance service.
To ensure that the personnel, property and other assets of the Council, and other organisations if relevant, are appropriately insured.
To co-ordinate corporate risk management across the council to ensure that risks are identified and managed in accordance with the Council’s risk appetite statement.

Requirements
Educated to degree level or have a relevant professional qualification/ Insurance qualification or willingness to work towards this.
Knowledge and practical experience of insurance.
