Job summary
A very exciting and unique opportunity has arisen at Bristol Haematology & Oncology Centre (BHOC) for a highly motivated, enthusiastic senior nurse to lead the Uro‑Oncology CNS team. This is a permanent part‑time post for 34 hours per week.
We are looking for a dynamic senior nurse, with proven managerial and leadership skills who is passionate about providing a high standard of care to join the Uro Oncology CNS Team at the BHOC.
The B7 role is responsible for leading the team through the provision of specialist nursing advice and support to patients and families throughout their care pathway. The role requires the post holder to work closely with all members of the multidisciplinary team involved in the Uro Oncology care pathway in both the outpatient and inpatient setting in BHOC. This is an excellent opportunity to develop clinically, personally and professionally, helping to shape the service that we deliver to our patients.
The position is Monday to Friday with the option of flexible working.
Main duties of the job
You will need to be confident, have excellent clinical skills, knowledge and expertise and understanding of service delivery and its requirements. You will have excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills, be flexible and self‑motivated with experience of planning and delivering service improvement initiatives in the NHS. You will have the ability to foster good working relationships with patients, their families and carers and colleagues within the MDT team.

* Active 1st level registration with NMC
* Evidence of Masters level study
