Doctorcall is a private medical service providing 24/7 GP care, including home visits and telemedicine; and flu vaccination programmes. Our software supports both our core visiting service and client-facing portals.
We’re looking for an Associate Delivery Manager to help translate business and operational needs into well-defined software work, coordinate delivery with developers and vendors, and support teams and clients in using our systems effectively.
This is a hands‑on role at the intersection of software delivery, operations and client enablement.
What you’ll do
* Break business and operational needs into clear tasks, user stories and acceptance criteria
* Coordinate delivery with internal developers and an outsourced development partner
* Maintain delivery boards and track progress, risks and dependencies
* Become a product expert on our internal systems and client portals
* Support internal teams and clients with demos, walkthroughs, FAQs and troubleshooting
* Feed operational and client insight into how the product evolves
Strategic direction sits with senior staff, but you’ll have real input into delivery sequencing, feasibility and continuous improvement.
Who this suits
* Early‑career graduates (e.g. computer science, engineering, maths, physics or similar)
* Clear, structured communicators who enjoy turning messy problems into practical actions
* Organised, reliable and comfortable working with both technical and non‑technical people
* Interested in how software supports real‑world services
You don’t need to have been a Delivery Manager before — we’re looking for aptitude, judgement and willingness to take responsibility.
Our team is based in nice offices in the centre of Manchester, and in‑office presence is important to understand how the software is being used and the problems that need to be solved. So substantial office presence is required.
How to apply
* Please send your CV and a short note explaining why this role interests you and what kind of problems you enjoy working on.
