The Direct Sales Development Manager will play a key role in driving growth by developing strategic relationships, winning new business, and achieving sales targets within a defined region.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, results-driven sales professional to grow profitability across direct works and maintenance, while maximising the full Sovereign Fire & Security portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development:
• Identify and secure new business in line with company strategy
• Target new customers to promote the full SFS portfolio of services
• Develop sales of integrated life safety and security systems
• Grow new maintenance contract opportunities
• Build long-term relationships with maintenance and direct works clients
Operational Support
• Prepare quotes and tender submissions
• Follow up on outstanding remedial work quotations
• Conduct fire & security surveys and attend client site meetings
• Support customer retention initiatives and gather client feedback
What We're Looking For:
• Self-motivated and results-driven mindset
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Understanding of industry standards (e.g., BS5839, NSI)
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Fire & Security sector sales experience advantageous
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the region
