Job Title: Reliability Lead
Location: Scarborough
Working Hours: 07:30am to 4:30pm - Monday to Friday, total 40 hours
Our client is seeking a Reliability Lead to join them on a permanent basis. You will drive reliability improvement programs across the plant and use accurate data analysis to work closely with plant teams to ensure they reduce food safety or maintenance related incidents. You will drive onsite maintenance improvement to reduce engineering downtime, increase asset reliability and optimise maintenance lifecycle costs. You will conduct root cause analysis, delivering recommendations for the site to implement. You will lead a small team of technicians who collect vibration data, perform lubrication routes and provide ad-hoc engineering services.
Responsibilities
* Analyzing equipment failure data to identify patterns and trends.
* Conducting root cause analysis to determine the underlying causes of problems.
* Developing and implementing new maintenance procedures.
* Designing and implementing procedures for monitoring and testing equipment.
* Identifying new technologies and processes to improve equipment performance and reliability.
* Developing and implementing training programs for employees.
* Collaborating with other departments to ensure reliability is integrated across the site.
* Working safely and adhering to company policies and procedures.
* Improving uptime and lowering maintenance costs by optimising asset maintenance life cycles.
* Identifying current pain points and developing improvement strategies.
* Working with the Shift Operations team to identify, understand and plan plant issues with timely actions.
* Building an in-depth understanding of the manufacturing plant, processes, bottlenecks and priorities to guide work prioritisation.
* Leveraging the total site team and support functions to generate site-wide solutions.
* Working with OEMs, contractors and specialists to drive improvements and ensure services meet site requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements
* HNC or equivalent in an appropriate mechanical/electrical discipline.
* Previous FMCG/food industry experience.
* Knowledge of SAP and Power BI.
* HACCP – Desirable.
* Advanced Food Hygiene.
* To be considered for this role you must: Have UK employment experience working within a Food/Beverage environment as an engineer; have no restrictions or be on a visa expiring after 2031; have a clean UK driving licence; be able to pass a DBS Check.
