The Role

NHS Lanarkshire is offering an exceptional opportunity to join our dedicated Employee Relations Team as a HR Case Management Co-ordinator.

This role provides a full secretariat, administrative and co‑ordination service to support case management across NHS Lanarkshire. You will play a key part in ensuring our HR processes run smoothly, confidentially, and in line with NHS Scotland Once for Scotland workforce policies.



Key Responsibilities

* Provide comprehensive case management administration and secretariat support.
* Co‑ordinate investigation meetings and hearings, ensuring strict adherence to policy timescales.
* Prepare accurate and timely summary notes of hearings and investigations.
* Manage case documentation, correspondence, and shared mailboxes with confidentiality and efficiency.
* Maintain and update the Case Management System to support workload tracking.
* Build effective working relationships with managers, staff, and trade union representatives.
* Support the Employee Relations Team in delivering a high‑quality, customer‑focused HR service.

What we'll need you to bring

* The postholder should hold an HND or equivalent in Business or Office Administration or have comprehensive experience of business administration, business co-ordination and Note taking skills.
* HR experience is advantageous.
* Highly effective communication skills are required, alongside the ability to work in a pressurised, high demand environment and deliver to tight deadlines. The postholder should be able to communicate confidently and professionally with staff at all levels.
* The postholder should have excellent keyboard skills and Microsoft Office experience, alongside a good working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases.
* Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills are essential, as is team working. The postholder will be required to work independently, often without the presence of the Senior HR Advisor and must display maturity and understanding in taking decisions and progressing issues.
* The ability to prioritise work is critical, as is the ability to work constructively in a team environment ensuring continuity of service during peak times / absences while continuing to demonstrate the utmost confidentiality.

Please note for all vacancies where a driving licence is required this must be a full UK/EU/EEA licence.



It would be great if you also have

* HR experience or exposure to Employee Relations processes.
* Comprehensive experience in business administration and co-ordination.
* Proven ability to produce accurate formal notes of meetings and hearings.
* Experience working within HR or a similar high-demand environment.
* Knowledge of NHS Workforce Policies (Once for Scotland).
* Knowledge of the full MS Office suite
* Knowledge of databases and HR information management systems
* Excellent influencing skills
* The ability to work autonomously



Contract type

Fixed Term or Secondment for 12-months.

Full time

37-hours

Please note this is a fixed term for 12-months. Where a post only has temporary funding and an existing member of NHS Lanarkshire staff wishes to apply, this will be treated as a secondment. The employee MUST already have written agreement from their line manager to be released on a secondment before applying for the post.



Location and Working Pattern

This role will be based within Employee Relations Team at Kirklands Hospital - NHS Lanarkshire Board HQ.

The working pattern for this role will be Monday - Friday.
