Job title: Material Controller
Job Type: Permanent Staff
Start date: As soon as possible subject to clearance

Location: Stoke On Trent/ Hybrid Working Available 3/2 Split
Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week
Responsibilities
* Taking receipt of deliveries
* Processing the delivery in the Enterprise resource planning system ensuring documentation is verified and retained.
* Store materials ensuring they can be easily identified and their condition is preserved
* Liaising with the production team and engineers to understand what parts or components they require in line with their project delivery programmes
* Control the issue of materials to ensure traceability is maintained
* Ordering and maintaining a stock of consumables where not covered by consignment stock.
* Control the issue of PPE ensuring records are maintained
* Control the calibration of tools and equipment ensuring the calibration database is maintained
Requirements / Qualifications
* The individual must be well organised with a methodical approach, be committed to continual improvement, have a positive and helpful manner whilst ensuring control of materials is maintained whilst supporting the Production Team\'s successful and timely delivery of the clients bespoke equipment.
* Their activities must always be completed in a safe manner. This role is predominantly a week day role however occasional weekend working may be required.
* Used to working in a team, but can also work independently when required.
* Ability to plan ahead, co-ordinate and prioritise workloads.
* Good administration skills and computer literate.
* Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with people at all levels.
* Professional, methodical, organised, flexible approach.
* Forklift License - Desirable if held. Full training will be provided.
Clearance
UK National Security Vetting Status - All candidates MUST be eligible to gain SC Clearance.
