About the Role
* You'll focus on building and retaining a profitable portfolio of cross-class commercial clients across a vibrant and growing region.
* Your remit will include developing new commercial insurance business, working closely with various sectors experiencing growth from infrastructure investment and regional development.
* You'll deliver trusted, face-to-face advice across commercial combined, property, liability, motor fleet, and more.
* Retaining and growing a loyal book of clients through proactive relationship management and advice-led service is essential.
* Working with a capable support team handling renewals, administration, claims, and placement is crucial.
* You'll act as a local insurance lead with opportunities to grow into a leadership role and build a team as the business expands.
About You
* You'll need a commercial insurance background, ideally in a client-facing broking or account executive role.
* A proven track record of developing and retaining commercial business is essential.
* You should be skilled in giving practical, regulated advice to SME and mid-market clients.
* Motivation by autonomy, client outcomes, and long-term relationships is vital.
* You should be based in or near the South Lakes/Cumbria area and keen to become a key local figure in commercial insurance.
