A friendly and inclusive primary school in Kensington is seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately on a full-time basis until July. This is a wonderful opportunity to support students with special educational needs in a nurturing and dynamic learning environment.
The Role:
* Providing tailored 1:1 and small group support for students with special educational needs.
* Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver and monitor individual education plans (IEPs) for SEN students.
* Assisting with social, emotional, and behavioural support to promote a positive classroom atmosphere.
* Helping to create an inclusive and supportive environment that ensures all children can access the curriculum and thrive.
* Supporting the preparation of teaching materials and adapting lessons to meet the needs of SEN students.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Experience supporting children with special educational needs is preferred.
* Understanding of various SEN strategies and interventions.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
* Patient, empathetic, and proactive in supporting students with diverse learning needs.
* Passionate about providing an inclusive education and making a difference in the lives of SEN students.
