As a Marketing & Events Assistant, you will support the Marketing team in ensuring everything runs smoothly for day-to-day duties, one off events, and everything in between. With such a multi-talented team, the list of possible duties you could be involved in will never be exhaustive, but will include:
* Taking responsibility for the practical elements of event planning locally, nationally, and internationally, such as tickets, travel, and accommodation
* Extending professional communications to a variety of customers
* Helping with regular maintenance on multiple websites
* Running metrics across department to prove Return on Investment on campaigns
* Completing administration tasks to support the workload of the wider team
Excellent communication skills are essential in this role to be able to liaise with teams internally and externally on a variety of matter, as is a keen eye for detail.
To be successful in this role, you will thrive in a team, wanting to play your part in ensuring the success of the department, but also be comfortable using your own initiative and organising your own time effectively.
Although not essential, a degree in Marketing, Events Management, Business Management, or similar would be advantageous.
This is a full time role based from our Sunderland office with a hybrid working pattern on completion of probation.
