Responsibilities
* Checking existing and new parts, upkeep of engineering information and document control within SAP and PDM system.
* Creation of new parts into SAP as dictated by engineering.
* Creation of ECN and performing BOM changes as dictated by engineering.
* Collate and manage all documents within a technical enquiry.
* Obtain necessary documents from appropriate departments (e.g., drawings and company procedures).
* Flag up document issues.
* Actively track and control engineering specific documents through cradle to grave.
* Set up databases for documents and ensure they are properly organized and easily accessible.
* Ensure documents are properly archived.
* Maintain existing engineering data.
Qualifications
* Technical Certificate/Diploma is an advantage but not essential.
* Experience with technical documentation and revision control.
* Good written and communication skills.
* Meticulous and organized.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
* Experience in manufacturing and engineering environment is an advantage.
* Experience with SAP is an advantage.
