Job Title:Structural Engineer

Your Responsibilities:
* Support the project team in the delivery of exemplary buildings.
* Assist with detailed designs in collaboration with internal and external engineers, other disciplines and referring to the Delivery Manager and/or Lead Engineer.
* Contribution to the technical development team.
* Producing structural design packages.
* Producing temporary works packages.
* Prioritising tasks and focusing on objectives.
* Reviewing and checking of structural design packages produced by external engineers.
* Using AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla Teddsand spreadsheets to produce designs.
Required Skills:
* A relevant degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, preferably with a focus on timber construction or similar areas of study.
* Experience in timber engineering and modern methods of construction.
* Design skills using Eurocodes in timber and steel.
* Comfortable undertaking hand calculations and using spreadsheets.
* Competence in using computer design software packages.
* Analytical thinking with an eye for detail.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to take initiative, ownership, and responsibility for your work.
