The Role
As Head of Global Parts Operations, you will own the strategy, planning, and execution of all global spare parts operations — ensuring the right part is in the right place at the right time. Your responsibilities include forecasting, supplier management, warehousing, logistics, and dealer support to underpin a premium customer ownership experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Parts Supply Chain Leadership: Lead procurement, inventory management, warehousing, and distribution; develop an optimized global supply chain strategy; align operations with broader Aftersales goals.
2. Inventory Planning & Availability: Oversee forecasting, replenishment, monitor KPIs like availability rates, and collaborate with regional teams for proactive inventory management.
3. Dealer Support & Service Excellence: Work with regional dealers to understand demand, ensure timely parts delivery, and promote a customer-first culture.
4. Operational Efficiency & Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvements, automation, and partnerships with logistics providers to enhance resilience and efficiency.
5. Leadership & Collaboration: Lead and develop the global team; collaborate with cross-functional teams; manage operational risks and stakeholder expectations.
About You
* 8-12+ years in global parts operations, supply chain, or logistics, preferably in automotive or related industries.
* Deep understanding of aftermarket parts lifecycle, forecasting, and inventory management.
* Experience leading complex multi-market distribution at scale.
* Strong commercial acumen and customer focus; skilled in systems and process optimization.
* Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* High attention to detail and a passion for continuous improvement.
