Softcat's Service Development team is in place to develop, introduce and improve the IT services that we offer ourcustomers. The role of the team is to research new potential service offerings and bring them to life by working withthe wider organisation.

As a Service Development Executive, you will be key to the success of the Service Development Team and theexecution of the services roadmap. You will support the team to meet their project milestones, coordinatecommunications with other teams, and support on the development of services from a research and buildperspective. You will gain experience across the Service Development project lifecycle and will contributemeaningfully to the offerings our customers receive
As Service Development Executive, you'll be responsible for:
* Coordinating Service Development project updates to the wider business
* Ensuring team trackers are kept up to date with the correct information, e.g. key project milestones
* Coordinating the team's responses to framework updates such as G Cloud
* Maintaining the Glossary of Terms
* Coordinating / tracking Service Review completion
* Supporting Product Managers on research projects – completing delegated tasks such as market and competitor research, gathering requirements, completing data analysis, organising follow-up workshops, drafting elements of Business Cases etc.
* Supporting Programme Managers on build projects – completing delegated tasks such as managing workstreams, drafting project updates, creating part codes, drafting elements of Service Descriptions etc.
