Job overview
To work collaboratively with service users within the Adult Forensic Services (both individually and in groups) to proactively empower them to pursue their personal recovery pathway and therapeutic goals.
This will be achieved by way of engaging in relevant, meaningful and sustainable recovery opportunities, accessing community-based resources and regaining a socially inclusive role and lifestyle within the wider community setting.
Main duties of the job
The post holder is expected to work over a 7 day period with service users in facilitating and enabling leave to ensure that therapeutic objectives are attained as part of the service users recovery and progress towards discharge.
The post holder will have the necessary skills and competencies in escorting patients and will also plan and report on individual service user leave and provide information and data to monitor use of therapeutic leave across the service.
