What youll be doing as the appointed Buyer:
* Raising and managing purchase orders for goods, materials, and services
* Ensuring on-time delivery and negotiating best value with suppliers
* Running RFQs, analysing bids, and recommending suppliers
* Resolving purchasing issues and supporting continuous improvement
* Managing custom commodities and understanding supplier capabilities
* Monitoring market trends to minimise cost and supply risk
* Conducting supplier reviews and maintaining strong vendor relationships
* Keeping purchasing data accurate and up to date
* Maintaining departmental KPIs and ensuring compliance with processes
