Hours: Full-time or part-time considered – 38 weeks per annum
We are seeking compassionate, enthusiastic and adaptable individuals to join our dedicated team supporting pupils in our complex needs Resource Base provision from September 2025. These temporary roles offer a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with additional needs, working within a supportive and inclusive school community.
The post is fixed term due to external funding attached to the child.
About the role:
Our Resource Base provides targeted support for children with a range of special educational needs. We are looking for individuals who can foster positive relationships, provide personalised learning support and help create a nurturing environment where every child can thrive.
Duties may include:
1. Supporting children with their learning, communication and personal development
2. Working closely with the class teacher and SEND team to deliver individualised programmes
3. Promoting positive behaviour and self-regulation using relational and restorative strategies
4. Supporting inclusion in mainstream activities where appropriate
We are looking for someone who:
5. Has experience or a strong interest in working with children with SEND
6. Is flexible, calm and patient in approach
7. Works well in a team and builds positive relationships with pupils and staff
8. Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
This is a temporary post to support short-term needs within the provision. There may be opportunities to extend for the right candidate, depending on future needs.

This role requires a DBS disclosure.
This role requires the ability to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence and fluency in English.
