About the Opportunity Our client is an established and growing construction contractor delivering a diverse range of projects across the commercial, residential and refurbishment sectors. Due to continued growth and an expanding workload, they are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee multiple projects and support the successful delivery of construction operations across London and the South East. The Role Reporting directly to senior leadership, the Contracts Manager will take responsibility for the overall management, coordination and performance of several projects simultaneously. You will provide leadership to project teams, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Oversee multiple construction projects from pre-construction through to completion Manage Site Managers, Project Managers and project delivery teams Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and profitably Monitor programme performance and drive project progress Review and manage project budgets, costs and commercial performance Attend client, consultant and subcontractor meetings Support procurement and supply chain management activities Manage project risk and implement mitigation strategies Ensure quality standards and compliance requirements are achieved Provide regular project reporting to senior management Build and maintain strong client relationships Requirements Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within the construction industry Strong background delivering new build, residential and refurbishment projects Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously Excellent knowledge of construction methodologies and project delivery Strong commercial awareness and contractual understanding Excellent leadership and people management skills Ability to build and maintain client relationships Strong communication and organisational skills Full UK driving licence Ideal Candidate Strong leadership and team management abilities Commercial and operational awareness Excellent planning and organisational skills Proactive problem-solving capability Ability to manage competing priorities High standards of professionalism and accountability Client-focused approach Ability to drive performance and project success Benefits £80,000 - £85,000 basic salary 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays 5% employer pension contribution Career progression opportunities Long-term pipeline of secured work Collaborative and supportive management team
