Overview
IP Team Secretary (Strategic Group Responsibility). An accurate, confidential and supportive administration service for patients, clinical teams, carers and internal and external agencies (e.g. Local Authority, Public Health Wales) to provide a safe and efficient service with triage information and appropriate support. The post holder will deliver a comprehensive high‑quality specialist secretarial and administrative service to the Matron, specialist nursing teams and other health professionals and will coordinate the Strategic Groups across the Health Board (including Medical Consultants/External experts from Welsh Government). Welsh or English speakers are welcome to apply.
The role may include coordinating across Wales and supporting day‑to‑day issues to oversee the smooth running of the department.
Main duties
* Provide an accurate, confidential and supportive administrative service for patients, clinical teams, carers and internal and external agencies (e.g. Local Authority, Public Health Wales) to deliver a safe and efficient service with triage information and appropriate support.
* Deliver a comprehensive high‑quality specialist secretarial and administrative service to the Matron, specialist nursing teams and other health professionals.
* Coordinate and guide the team to manage day‑to‑day matters to oversee the smooth running of the department and provide support to the service.
* Coordinate the Strategic Groups across the Health Board (incl. Medical Consultants/External experts from Welsh Government) and coordinate across Wales as required.
* Maintain office organisation and triage calls into the Health Economy Specialist Service (e.g. Infection Prevention).
