Key Account Manager (f/m/d)
Responsibilities
* To build and maintain strong client relationships ensuring the highest level of customer service is met at all times.
* To develop markets and maintain effective business relationships across all levels of the value chain including potential new customers and strategic partners.
* Identify & develop new business opportunities.
* Development of sales plans and targets while staying within prescribed budget. Managing & reporting performance against plan, to include monthly updates to UK Director.
* Ongoing growth of brand awareness at consumer level, formulate and manage social media content and ensure ongoing connections with industry personalities.
* To keep abreast of new products and services and undertake training as and when requested.
* Use market & customer knowledge to negotiate and agree pricing policies by product / customer / territory.
* Collect, assess & report market intelligence including current applications, products, technologies, market size/potential, customers & potential customers, competitor intelligence and potential additional value streams/new products.
* Liaise with UK warehouse administration and reprocessing.
* Close liaison with customer sales administration team to facilitate and effectively satisfy customer’s needs, production planning, and supply chain management.
Qualifications
* Educated to degree/HND level or equivalent in appropriate commercial technical or business area.
* Proven ability to understand, sell and market technical products.
* Knowledge of the Apparel, Hobby/Craft and Retail Industry.
* Proven ability to understand markets and business.
* Proven experience of developing and managing customer relationships to deliver profitable growth.
* Specific skills & knowledge: leadership, value to the customer, energy and implementation, communication, innovation.
* Competencies: naturally gregarious and tenacious, strong focus on communications, networking; commercial awareness; excellent written and oral communication; ability to communicate with all levels of the organisation and of the customer’s organisation.
