Level 2 Teaching Assistant (TA) - Wellingborough Location: Wellingborough, Northamptonshire Employer: Tradewind Recruitment Hours: Full time About the Role Tradewind Recruitment is looking to appoint dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistants to support teaching and learning in Wellingborough schools. This role is ideal for someone with some experience who wants to help pupils directly in the classroom, assist teachers, support small group interventions, and contribute to school life. Key Responsibilities Support the teacher in delivering lessons; assist individuals and small groups. Help with classroom organisation, preparing resources. Assist with pupil assessment and feedback under guidance of teacher. Support behaviour management and maintaining a positive learning environment. Help supervise break times, transitions, possibly lunch duties. Work with pupils with additional needs, where appropriate, under the direction of SENDCo or teacher. Liaise with teacher and other TAs to ensure consistency. Essential Skills & Qualifications Experience working with children in a school or similar environment. Good communication, patience, reliability. GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths preferred. Understanding of safeguarding requirements. Ability to follow instruction and work as part of a team.
