About the Role
Milk Educationare working with a specialistSEMH school in Slough to recruit dedicatedBehaviour Mentors to work across Slough. The role will involve supporting pupils withsocial, emotional and mental health needs, helping them overcome barriers to learning and develop positive behaviour strategies.
We are looking for x4 individuals with experience in eitheryouth work, sports coaching, healthcare, mentoring, or education, who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide1:1 and small group behaviour supportto pupils
* Build positive, trusting relationships with students who may displaychallenging behaviour
* Support students in managingemotions, behaviour, and engagement in learning
* Assist teachers in delivering structured lessons and behaviour interventions
* Promote asafe and supportive learning environment
* Monitor and report progress to teaching staff and pastoral teams
The Ideal Candidate
* Experience working withchildren or young people with behavioural needs
* Strongcommunication and behaviour management skills
* Patient, resilient, and able to build positive relationships
* Passionate about supporting pupils withSEMH needs
* Able to remain calm and supportive in challenging situations
Desirable Experience
* Previous work inSEMH schools, PRUs, or alternative provisions
* Background inyouth work, sports coaching, care work, or mentoring
* Behaviour management orTeam Teach training
