Regional Sales Manager – Construction Recruitment – Are you an experienced and commercially driven senior recruitment consultant ready to take the next step into a regional role?
Our client, a well-established business with over 30 years of success, is looking for a Regional Sales Manager to drive growth across their construction recruitment operations in the South. Operating across both Trades & Labour (blue collar) and Construction Professionals (white collar) markets, they partner with main contractors, residential developers, civil engineering firms, and specialist subcontractors.
This is a high-impact role offering genuine influence over business growth, strong earning potential, and the opportunity to shape regional performance across multiple offices.
The Role
You will take ownership of regional sales strategy and performance, focusing on both new business development and key account growth.
* Developing and executing a regional sales strategy across Southampton, Guildford, and Horsham
* Identifying and securing new business opportunities across contractors, developers, and subcontractors
* Building and strengthening relationships with key accounts and framework clients
* Driving revenue across both temporary and permanent recruitment markets
* Supporting consultants with business development, client meetings, and negotiations
* Encouraging collaboration across divisions to maximise opportunities and share leads
* Monitoring sales pipelines and ensuring strong activity levels across the region
* Representing the business at client meetings, networking events, and industry functions
* Identifying opportunities to improve margins and commercial performance
* Providing market insight to support wider strategic growth plans
About You
* Proven track record in construction recruitment
* Strong experience in new business development and account management
* Solid understanding of both temporary/freelance and permanent recruitment models
* Ability to influence, coach, and support consultants to improve performance
* Commercially astute with strong negotiation skills
* Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
* Self-motivated, target-driven, and results-focused
* Full UK driving licence
* Recruitment industry experience (required)
