As Regional Delivery Manager for our planned delivery you’ll be effectively managing all aspects of business performance for the delivery of planned programs such as new kitchen and bathroom installations, completed by in-house teams. You’ll manage a budget circa £5m and will be accountable for a team of around 40 colleagues, including managers, trade operatives and administrative team members.
Responsibilities for the role will include –
* Providing planned and groundworks that are finished to a high quality standard, meeting regulatory targets and ensuring completion within all financial and performance related service level agreements and KPI’s
* Accountability for the creation and delivery of the strategy to fulfil the Planned Delivery service
* Creating a best in class service offering, that is truly effortless for all of our customers both internal and external
* Leading by example on all Aster values and behaviours and coaching and developing a high performing team that can deliver and implement the strategic direction and objectives for the service, including financial planning, risk, and performance monitoring
* Managing the budget, including producing reports that shows cost of planned component installs and service via inhouse teams, which includes value for money and productivity
* Embracing new technology and’ Lean’ ways of working to ensure they are at the forefront of process improvements which benefit the organisation and its customers
About you
You will be professionally qualified in a construction or building related discipline and/or demonstrate relevant experience.
You’ll bring to the role your significant experience of managing a large social housing asset portfolio and\or working in a regulated compliance sector in a management role. You will be able to prioritise and assess risk to set and achieve targets, costs and time deadlines.
You will have a strong commercial/financial track record, along with good project management skills within a planned program works. And you will be able to demonstrate your proven ability to effectively set and manage large and varied budgets, analyse trends and forecast effectively, ensuring value for money and demonstrating strong commercial acumen.
You’ll be experienced in influencing and negotiating at all levels across the organisation, communicating effectively with external stakeholders, customers, colleagues Heads of Service and Assistant Directors
This is a hybrid role enabling you to base yourself from home if you choose. There will be a requirement to travel for the role so being able to travel across the operating region will be required.
Our operating region includes Hampshire, Wiltshire, Somerset, Dorset, Devon, Cornwall and London.
