ROLE SUMMARY:
The Minors Nursery School seeks an enthusiastic, ambitious Nursery Assistant to start in January 2021. The role is ideal for someone passionate about Early Years education, eager to develop within an outstanding EYFS team and environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This supportive role involves:
* Providing a safe, high-quality early years environment for children
* Supporting the Senior Leadership Team and nursery staff
* Assisting with routines and organisation
* Monitoring children's safety through supervision
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
* Assisting with curriculum planning and providing creative, appropriate activities in an inclusive environment
* Ensuring activities are safe and responsible, reporting concerns to the room leader
* Following school policies on safeguarding and confidentiality
* Contributing to high standards of care, health, safety, and hygiene
* Engaging positively with children, supporting stimulating activities that meet developmental needs
* Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, lift, and change nappies/toileting duties
* Promoting positive behaviour, managing conflicts, and encouraging responsibility
* Supporting safeguarding policies and procedures at all times
