Description:
We provide Global Corporate Investment Banking and Global Transaction Services with direction on technology strategy and solutions to align with business goals. Our responsibilities include managing architecture-related risks and ensuring adherence to standards, principles, and blueprints. We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to support Payments, Accounting Services, Liquidity Management, Receivables, Trade Supply Chain Finance, and Commercial Card domains. The team operates globally across the US, EMEA, and APAC, offering an exciting and varied workload.
Responsibilities
1. Define architectural vision and solution architecture aligned with business and enterprise strategies, including technology and platform choices.
2. Describe solution intent and operating environment, identify primary systems and interfaces, and define non-functional requirements.
3. Ensure solutions are fit for purpose by collaborating with stakeholders and vendors, evaluating strategic design impacts.
4. Work with both business and technology teams to create solution intent and architectural vision.
5. Lead rapid development of high-level architecture, ensuring flexibility, modularity, and ease of adaptation.
6. Utilize best practices, templates, and documentation for architectural designs.
7. Coordinate with Product Managers/Owners to plan and prioritize architecture-related backlog items.
8. Clarify architecture for development teams and provide solutions to impediments.
9. Conduct design reviews to ensure all non-functional requirements (security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, reliability) are met.
10. Act as an individual contributor.
11. Possess domain knowledge in Payments, Accounting Services, Liquidity Management, Receivables, Trade Supply Chain Finance, and Commercial Cards.
12. Drive shared service strategies and foster a performance culture.
13. Promote best practices for continuous improvement of products, processes, and tools.
14. Be a motivated self-starter capable of thriving in a fast-paced, team environment.
15. Have relevant IT experience, including SDLC methodologies (Waterfall/Agile).
16. Coordinate effectively with Business Partners.
17. Lead and contribute to automation, causal analysis, and shared solutions development.
18. Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills suitable for technical and non-technical audiences.
19. Demonstrate analytical thinking, attention to detail, problem-solving, and innovative thinking.
20. Translate complex concepts into multiple architectural views for diverse audiences.
21. Have broad IT knowledge and experience, including Financial Software, Middleware, and Databases.
22. Interpret business needs and apply innovative technological solutions.
23. Have extensive experience in Banking/Financial Services Technology.
24. Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
