Responsibilities
* Work with Community Planning Partnerships, Local Authorities, Integrated Health & Social Care Partnerships, Third Sector, Resilience Partnerships, Police Scotland, Scottish Fire & Rescue Service, and Scottish Ambulance Service.
* Collaborate with three Local Authorities, Integrated Health and Social Care Partnerships (IHSCPs), Community Planning Partnerships (CPPs), NHS Infrastructure and Support Services and other partners.
* Develop and expand own areas of interest with strong links to universities across the West of Scotland.
* Provide leadership as a child health commissioner with public health expertise.
Qualifications & Registration
* Specialist registered with the UK Public Health Register, or GMC for medically trained applicants.
* All speciality registrars should be within six months of obtaining their CCT at interview date.
* Essential: Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Hours & Shift Pattern
7 sessions per week (28 hours per week), 0.7 WTE. Permanent basis.
Salary
Consultant: £111,430 - £148,064
Band 8D: £103,764 - £108,206
