Locomotive / mechanical Engineer - required to join and support our skilled team of engineers at Boden Rail Engineering Ltd. The role will consist of engineering within the depot and in the field when required. The role will include:
Engineering duties:
* Servicing locomotives
* willing to undertake safety critical work
* Re-blocking brakes
* Bogie refurbishments
* Power unit refurbishments
* Fault finding
* Hand washing locomotives
* Pressure washing
* forklift
* Topping up Oil, Sand and other consumables to locomotives
* Assisting with lifting and fitting of parts
General Depot duties:
* Supporting a clean environment within depot
* Stock management
* Assisting with in/outbound despatching of parts
