About the Role We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Construction Director to oversee and direct all home office and field construction activities for a large-scale project in Eastern Europe. This role requires a deep understanding of complex situations, the ability to switch between intuitive and analytical approaches, and a holistic view of project objectives and alternative solutions. Location: Initially based in our Home Office in Farnborough, with various site visits during the FEED phase. All qualified individuals will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, colour, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, national origin, disability, veteran status, genetic information, or any other criteria protected by governing law.Key Responsibilities • Lead and direct all construction activities, ensuring adherence to project drawings, specifications, budgets, and safety standards. • Develop and implement detailed constructability plans, including leading workshops. • Manage project schedules and costs by optimizing manpower and resources to ensure maximum efficiency. • Foster a strong safety culture, making safety a core part of all work performed. • Manage a large, multi-functional team, including safety, quality, engineering, and site services, to deliver on project goals. • Act as the primary liaison between site/project teams, senior management, clients, and the local community. • Ensure all work is completed within scope, compliance, and safety regulations. • Report directly to the Regional EAME Construction Manager and the Project Director. • Take charge of technical procedures, risk mitigation, construction sequencing, and performance monitoring What we’re looking for • Master’s or bachelor's degree in engineering, Mathematics, or a related field. • 5 years of construction experience, with a focus on planning and execution of large-scale (500 million), complex projects • At least 20 years Construction Management experience on site • Strong leadership in both project management and health and safety • Demonstrate ability to work within a large project team • Excellent commination skills • Ability to work collaboratively in large teams, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including spreadsheets and presentations. • Experience with construction automation tools and systems is a plus.
