Job Opportunity: Staff Nurses in Inpatient Services
We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated staff nurses to join our Inpatient Services. Our specialised wards provide care for patients over 65 years old, including dementia assessment and treatment for individuals of any age with a dementia diagnosis, aiming for recovery and community reintegration. Currently, opportunities are available in these specialised areas.
This role offers an exciting challenge within a dynamic team in the acute care pathway. It is particularly suitable for registered mental health nurses interested in the physical and mental healthcare of older adults.
Additional Information
Please note: Applicants are required to pay for their DBS check, with costs deducted from salary after appointment. The standard DBS application fee is £26.40, and the enhanced fee is £54.40. Applicants are encouraged to enrol in the DBS Update Service, which costs £16 annually.
Candidate Profile
We seek registered Mental Health Nurses committed to providing high-quality care to patients with dementia and their families. You will act as a named nurse, advocating for your patients' best interests. Ideal candidates are approachable, compassionate, motivated, and possess strong communication skills, thriving in team environments.
Role Responsibilities
* Work alongside experienced multidisciplinary teams including nursing, medical, psychology, and allied health professionals to deliver patient-centered care.
* Participate in assessments, treatment, and recovery planning, focusing on the needs of patients and their families.
* Opportunities for further training as a link nurse in areas such as the Mental Health Act, physical health, and addiction.
