Overview
Our client, a leading technical centre in the battery manufacturing sector, is seeking a Process Quality Technician to support the delivery of high-quality operational processes and outputs. This role ensures compliance with customer requirements, ISO 9001, and internal quality management systems, playing a vital part in driving product excellence across all stages of production.
Please note, the role is 12 months fixed term contract and part time.
Responsibilities
* Support operations with data collection, product conformance checks, and process measurements.
* Conduct process audits in line with control plans, procedures, and work instructions.
* Raise non-conformities, deviations, and initiate Level Zero concerns where required.
* Carry out goods inward inspections against supporting documentation.
* Issue supplier rejection notes when appropriate and follow up with corrective actions.
* Assist with in-line process measurements and support operational quality improvements.
Qualifications
* NVQ in Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
* Minimum 2 years\' experience in a related engineering role, ideally with a quality inspection background.
* Proficient in Excel and Outlook for data capture and reporting.
* Experience in product measurement, data collection, and process auditing (audit experience desirable).
* Awareness of ISO 9001 and quality management systems.
* Strong communication, time management, and collaborative skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
