The Role:
As Hygiene Supervisor you will be responsible As Hygiene Supervisor will be responsible for all facilities and hygiene requirements and to ensure all machinery and equipment is in good working order and the factory is left at all times in a safe and hazard free environment. You will be expected to liaise with each departmental manager and carry out any work requests they may raise with you.

Member of the Quality Team reporting to the Quality Manager.
Your Duties:
* Reporting issues to the Quality manager that may result in compromised food safety or quality.
* Sending handovers and reports when required as instructed by the Quality Manager
* Working operationally with the Hygiene team
* Informing the Quality Manager of any relevant staffing issues
* Conduct full facilities checks in accordance with daily, weekly and monthly schedules, to include: all departmental equipment and machinery, and other areas under request
* Ensure sufficient staffing levels are in place to cover all absence and holiday dates, liaise with Quality Manager to get sign off on new roles.
* Ensure sufficient stock levels of Chemicals
* Co-ordinate all hygiene and cleaning activities.
* Ensure hygiene standards are achieved and maintained.
* Effective communication with internal departments to ensure all operational requirements are met.
* Supervise hygiene team to ensure that the highest standards of visual and microbiological hygiene are maintained at all times across all the areas of the site.
* Ensure all cleaning activities are documented.
* To follow all hygiene, food safety, quality, health & safety procedures and the company terms and conditions.
* Monitor and complete KPI information on a monthly basis
* Ensure the site is Audit Ready at all times

* Understanding of HACCP
* Knowledge of your product
* Make product to specification, dexterity and speed of work
* Punctual
